Dear OA Intergroup:
  As you may or may not know, we sent you a letter a few months ago
about our new 'Virtual Speakers Bureau".  This is on the 'Speakers'
page on our web site (www.oalaig.org).  This page contains MP3 sound
files of speakers with long term abstinence sharing their experience,
strength and hope.  The average time in program for these speakers is
about 25 years.

  As we mentioned before, this is the official website of the Los
Angeles Intergroup of OA, and contains no outside affiliations.  It is
simply here as a service to fellow OA members around the world.  These
MP3 files can be played directly on the computer or downloaded for
later use in portable sound players such as I-Pods, etc.

  The reason for this E-Mail is to inform everyone that we have just
uploaded 17 more sound files – for a total of 54 files (almost 40
hours of speakers).  We would greatly appreciate it if you could pass
on the word to members in your area about this service, either in via
local newsletter, at your Intergroup meeting, or with a link on your
website (or all three).

    Also, if your Intergroup should ever decide to start such a
Speakers page itself, please let us know and we will be glad to put a
link to your page on our Speakers page and start a 'web ring' of OA
Speakers' pages.  If you need any help setting up such a Speakers
page, feel free to contact us and our web guru will be more than
willing to help.
